The catalyst series

I have a particular fascination with solopreneurs and small business owners as catalysts for change. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of capturing many of their stories.

While I photograph all genders, most of my subjects have been women. Since 2007, the number of women-owned businesses has increased by 58 percent, compared to a 12 percent increase in businesses overall.
